  • Composition

    Each 1 ml contains:
    Sulfadiazine sodium 200 mg
    Trimethoprim 40 mg
    Excipients ad 1 ml

  • Indication

    - Combination formula of two antibacterial, which enhances the effectiveness against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria: Staph, strept, actinobacillus, actinomycetes, coli, salmonella, pasteurella, pneumococci, coryne, proteus, campylobacter, clostridia, fusobacterium, vibrio, klebsiella, bordetella, haemophilus.
    ● For Cows, Sheep, Horses, Cats and Dogs:
    Systemic treatment for a wide range of the bacterial infections:
    - Respiratory system infections: Rhinitis, broncho-pneumonia, tracheatis etc.
    - Digestive system infections: diarrhea, peritonitis, gastro-enteritis, colibacillosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, lamb dysentery (clostridia) etc.
    - Urogenital tract infections: nephritis, cystitis, vaginitis, cervicitis, mastitis (supportive treatment)
    - Septicaemia, foot-rot, pyoderma, wounds, skin infection.
    - Eyes, ears, mouth infections.
    - To prevent bacterial infection after surgery and childbirth.
    - Bacterial secondary infections of respiratory viral diseases and mycoplasma.

  • Usage

    By IM, IV, SUB Injection

  • Dosage

    Ruminants: 1 ml per16 kg B.wt. by intramuscular inj.
    Equines: By slow intravenous inj. only: 1 ml per 16 kg B.wt
    Dogs, Cats: 1 ml / 8 kg B. wt. by subcutaneous inj. only.
    - In severe cases, repeat the dose daily for 3-5 days.

  • Precautions

    - It is not given in cases of liver and kidney disorders, hypersensitivity to sulfa amides.
    - Ensure adequate water intake during treatment, to reduce the risk of crystalluria
    - Flumequine should not be associated with this treatment.

  • Withdrawal Period

    Meat: 10 days
    Milk: 3 days

  • Storage

    Store in a cool, dry and dark place at a temperature below 30° c.
    Shelf life 28 days after first use.
    Keep out of the reach of children.
