  • Composition

    Each 1 ml contains:
    Sodium Bicarbonate 13 mg
    Excipient ad 1 ml

  • Indication

    Sodium Bicarbonate Alpharabi is used for:
    - Treatment of metabolic acidosis caused by increased animal intake of concentrated and dry feeds, such as barley and energy-rich grains (carbohydrates) in ruminants, alkalinizing the urine and Metabolic acidosis resulting from an accumulation of acid metabolites from metabolic disorders.

  • Usage

    I.V. injection.

  • Dosage

    Cows: 1-2 liters per animal during 1-2 hours
    Sheep: 200 ml per animal during 1-2 hours
    Or according veterinarian instruction

  • Precautions

    - Do not use if solution is foggy, dark or contains a precipitate.
    - The bottle is not for multiple use; the unused quantity must be destroyed immediately.
    - Do not use along with IV Calcium Products.
    - Avoid freezing.

  • Withdrawal Period

    None

  • Storage

    Store in a cool, dry and dark place at a temperature below 30° c.

  • Notes

    Treatment should be supported by giving sodium chloride serum
