  • Composition

    Each 1 ml contains:
    Procaine Penicillin 200 mg
    Dihydrostreptomycin 250 mg
    Excipients ad 1ml

  • Indication

    Pen strep alpharabi It is used to treat infections of the digestive, respiratory and urinary system, septicaemia, arthritis, mastitis, and osteomyelitis, omphalitis, actinomycosis, tetanus, secondary bacterial infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to Penicillin and Dihydrostreptomycin, such as Campylobacter, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, E.Coli, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Listeria, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus in calves, cows, goats, and sheep.

  • Usage

    By deep Intramuscular injection.

  • Dosage

    Horses, cows, and camels: 1 ml per 25 kg B.wt for 3 - 5 days
    Sheep and goats: 1 ml per 20 kg B.wt for 3 - 5 days
    - Shake well before use.

  • Contraindication

    - Kidney insufficiency.
    - Hypersensitivity to Penicillins and Dihydrostreptomycin.

  • Withdrawal Period

    Meat: 23 days for cows, 31 days for sheep.
    Milk: 3 days for cows

  • Storage

    Store in a cool, dry and dark place at a temperature below 15° c.
    Keep out of the reach of children.
    Shelf life 28 days after first use.
