  • Composition

    Each 1 ml contains
    Oxytetracycline Base 300 mg
    Excipients ad 1 ml

  • Indication

    Oxy 30% L.A Alpharabi is prescribed for treatment of respiratory and gastrointestinal infections caused by oxytetracycline sensitive microorganisms like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E.coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. and infections of Arthritis, the Urinary system, Mastitis, Foot-rot. Also in order to Control Post-operative and Post-parturient infections in Cattle, Calves, Camels, Goats, Sheep and Buffaloes.

  • Usage

    By deep Intramuscular injection.

  • Dosage

    High dose:
    - Cattle, Camels, Goats, Sheep and Buffaloes:
    1 ml per 30 kg body weight as a single dose.
    - Do not inject in one injection spot more than 10 ml in cattle, camels and buffaloes, and more than 3 ml in calves, goats and sheep.

  • Precautions

    - Not to be used for horses, cats and dogs.
    - After intramuscular administration local reactions can occur, which disappear in a few hours.

  • Contraindication

    - Hypersensitivity to tetracycline.
    - Do not give with Penicillin, and Calcium and Iron compounds to avoid the occurrence of drug interactions.

  • Withdrawal Period

    Cattle: Meat: 31 days. - Milk: 10 days.
    Sheep: Meat: 9 days. - Milk: 7 days.

  • Storage

    Store in a cool, dry and dark place at a temperature not exceed 30° c.
    Shelf life 28 days after first use.
