  • Composition

    Each 1 ml contain:
    Gentamicin Sulfate 100 mg
    Excipients Ad 1 ml

  • Indication

    It’s used in sheep, goats, horses, buffalo, dogs, cats and poultry to treat the following cases:
    - Urinary tract infections (cystitis and nephritis)
    - Respiratory, Gastrointestinal and Uterine tract infections
    - Bacteremia, and soft tissue infections
    - Prevention of early mortality caused by E. coli, Salmonella, and Pseudomonas

  • Dosage

    For IM injection:
    Ruminants and Horses: 1-2 ml per 50 kg.
    Dogs and Cats: 0.5 ml per 10 kg 2 times daily in the first day then 1 time daily for 1 week.
    For Sub injection in the neck:
    - Chicks (1 day old): once subcutaneously with injectable solution diluted with sterile physiological saline solution (1:100) for 0.2 ml dose.
    - Turkey (1-3 days old): once subcutaneously with injectable solution diluted with sterile physiological saline solution (1:20) for 0.2 ml dose.

  • Contraindication

    - Hypersensitivity to Gentamycin.
    - Not given to animals that have an impaired renal and/or hepatic function.
    - Not given with general anesthesia, muscle relaxants, other Aminoglycosides or Polymyxins (Colistin) products.
    - Not given with some diuretics such as Furosemide, nor with other antibiotics. Mustn't be mixed with another antibiotic in the same injector.

  • Withdrawal Period

    Meat: 7 days
    Milk: 3 days

  • Storage

    Store in a cool, dry and dark place at a temperature below 30° c.
    Shelf life 28 days after first use.
    Keep out of the reach of children.
