    Each 1 ml contains:
    Colistin sulfate 1 million IU
    Excipients ad 1 ml

  • Indication

    Colistin AlPharabi is a narrow-spectrum antibiotic that affects Gram-negative bacteria such as (E. coli, salmonella, Pasteurella Haemophilus, pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella, Shigella)
    Used for the treatment of Gastro-intestinal infections (infectious diarrhea, coli bacillary diarrhea, hemorrhagic enteritis, septicemia of intestinal origin), Urinary infections, infectious polyarthritis and Coli form mastitis in cattle, horses, sheep and goats.

  • Usage

    By Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.

  • Dosage

    Sheep, Goats, Cows, Equines: 1 ml per 20 kg B.W for each 12 hours for 2-3 days

  • Precautions

    - The dose may be subdivided into different injection sites, when necessary.
    - Not to be used for rabbits.
    - In adult cattle the dose should not be exceed 20 ml every 12 hours.

  • Withdrawal Period

    Meat: 6 days
    Milk: 3 days.

  • Storage

    Store in a cool, dry and dark place at a temperature below 30° c.
    Shelf life 28 days after first use.
