  • Composition

    Each 100 g contains:
    Apramycin base 25 g
    (Equivalent to 29.5 g Apramycin Sulfate)
    Excipients ad 100 g

  • Indication

    Apramycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic effective against Gram-negative microorganisms are sensitive to Apramycin: (E.coli, Salmonella sp., Klebsiella sp., Bordetella) and some Gram-positive microorganisms (Staphylococcus, Streptococcus) and mycoplasma.
    It is used to treat gastrointestinal infections caused by Apramycin sensitive organisms:
    - Colibacillosis and Salmonellosis in calves and lambs.
    - Septicaemia caused by E. coli in poultry.

  • Usage

    Orally, via Drinking water

  • Dosage

    Poultry:
    Treatment: 200 g per 100 liters of D.W (50 g Apramycin / 100 liters of water).
    Prevention: 100 g per 100 liters of D.W (25 g of Apramycin / 100 liters of water)
    Treatment period is 5-7 days or as veterinarian instructions.
    Calves: 1-2 g per 50 kg daily with D.W or milk for 3-4 days.
    Lamb: 0.25 g per 25 kg daily with D.W for 3-4 days.

  • Precautions

    - Chicken eggs and animal milk treated with Apramycin are not used for human consumption
    - Do not use for cats
    - Stripes must be cleaned of rust in order to avoid reducing the effectiveness of the product.

  • Contraindication

    - Hypersensitivity to Apramycin.
    - Sometimes diarrhea may occur while using the drug at high doses and for an extended period.

  • Withdrawal Period

    Meat: Calves and Poultry: 28 days from last dose.

    Store in a cool, dry and dark place at temperatures below 30 ° C
